Australian Eastern Standard Time. (UTC+10)
(3.) How old are you?
16, shortly turning 17 at time of writing.
(4.)How much in-game time do you have on Thermal Reborn?
1 d, 18h. (Time has been updated once more to be relevant and accurate.)
(4a) How can we be sure you will stay active and loyal (with your time).
Even though I haven't been on too long, I do feel a connection to this server and to the Medic Troopers and will be on as often as possible, which may not be for long periods of time but I will be as productive as possible. I don't intend to simply disappear or become inactive in any way without a valid reason and without sharing that reason.
(4b) Do you understand you can be let go at ANY time for inactivity?
Yes, and if I am inactive without valid reason or for a debilitating period of time I am completely fine with the removal of my Commander status as I would rather someone that can be active take over.
(5.) Tell us about yourself and why you want to be Commander on Thermal Reborn? (50 words or more)
I don't want to share too much private information, something I imagine is respected, but I've been RPing from an incredibly young age and have had many incredible experiences in these RPs and have met great people over this time. It's been great so far, since the Staff have listened to the Medic Troopers when we needed to report the problems that were occurring and so far as I know, they have taken it on board. I have met some amazing people and the RP has been better than what is usually seen on other servers. I seek to become a Commander as Medic Troopers have apparently been through three already and two of the three I have heard of resigned. Medics are vital, and I want to make us into a regiment that matters and can RP just as much as anyone else. I want to prove to people we aren't a comatose regiment and that they do have a chance at advancing in terms of rank and RP with us.
(6.) What do you feel you need to improve on the most?
Mostly I just need to work on how I react to situations and my choice of words in order to better make myself more clean and less likely to offend anyone unintentionally. I sincerely apologize if this has happened and intend to undo and learn from any mistakes. This also means I will be less laid back and more serious in my behavior, though of course I will still be friendly and social, I will abide by the rules and enforce them in the Medic Troopers.
(7.) In your opinion, what sets you apart from the rest of the applicants for Commander?
Well, if there are any other applicants for this role or other roles, I wouldn't say I'm better or worse, but I am determined. I want to give Medic Troopers a chance to have RP, to engage and to be able to have fun while still participating in the RP and helping the server. Two of my friends who were Medic Troopers chose to join Navy due to a lack of RP with medics, something I'd like to see change.
(8.) Do you have any experience being a commander, officer, and/or being a leader of any type of Roleplay Group, battalion, Company, etc? If so, please state what the experience was and where you got it from:
I have been a Death Trooper Commander on another Imperial Server that shut down a few years ago. I was a Third In Command at the rank of Staff Sergeant on a Clone Wars server in the 327th Star Corps. I have also been a Jedi that led fellow Jedi and Troopers on a JvS server that sadly also shut down. I was in charge of an Army company on a Helix Halo Server recently, reaching a CO rank and eventually becoming Captain of ODSTs.
(9.) Have you ever been banned on any Garry's Mod Thermal Nation servers? If yes, then please list when, how long, and the reason:
No, I have not and do not intend to.
(10.) How would you rate your RP/command skills overall out of 10 (EX: Leadership, Communication, Organization, Roleplay, etc).
Roleplay: 9/10 - I am an experienced roleplayer and consider it the most vital part of Roleplay servers. To me it is the same importance as the integrity of a person's character.
Leadership: 8/10 - I am capable at leading people and have done so on this very server and others, however I would like to see how I go when it comes to tryouts and official leadership should I be accepted before I rank myself too high.
Communication: 8/10 - I have a mic and am always talking and informing people of important things when needed. If there are ever any communication issues, I want people to let me know. I do my best to be clear and as concise as possible.
Organization: 6/10 - I'm not the best at being organised, however I can keep the essential organisation of medic troopers when needed.
Approachability: 10/10 - I am always approachable and willing to talk or help. The only exception is if I've had a bad day or am in a bad mood, however if this is the case and I do join the server then I would prefer people talk to me and remind me to take a break before I continue.
(11.) Please describe two or more situations you may find yourself in as a Commander while leading in an event, organizing a Regiment, doing training, etc, and how you would deal with it.
In an event, Medic Troopers may find themselves in situations where they cannot reach people in need of their help. E.g: Soldiers that require healing or a revive but enemies are keeping Medics pinned. In this situation, we have to co-ordinate with other units to give us an opportunity to reach the individual. However, if they are in the open, they may not be able to be saved until after the enemies are cleared as Medic Troopers cannot get themselves killed, as much as we do our best to avoid it, sometimes sacrifices need to be made, but we will try every alternative before conceding the life of anyone.
Another situation that I may face as a Commander is insubordinate or incompetent Troopers. Insubordination will not be tolerated and will be punished, possibly resulting in being removed from a regiment if it is not a case of RP related insubordination and instead plain and simple insubordination, a trooper refusing a normal order for no valid reason. They will be spoken to, they will be handled appropriately and if the situation becomes worse, drastic measures may need to be taken. If it is RP insubordination, it will be treated with the respect due of someone attempting to RP their character and they will likely not receive any significant punishment unless the RP justifies and requires it. If it comes to being incompetent, that's an easy thing to work on: Training. Medic Troopers will be efficiently trained in the basics of soldiering and discipline in addition to being taught everything they need to know as medics. Training may become regular if the situation demands it and there will likely be regular training after every tryout to ensure that all Medic Troopers are capable of doing their jobs.
(12.) How do you plan to grow your regiment?
With hard but unrelenting effort. I will host tryouts when our numbers are low in co-ordination with other regiments to prevent any interference or poorly timed tryouts that can hinder all parties involved. They will be tested on the basics, asked questions to ensure loyalty and then given a medical situation to test their knowledge. The exact knowledge does not matter, as I am willing to train people and take my time, and I would hope any Medic Trooper aiming for NCO or CO is willing to do so as well. I want to provide a fun and wholesome environment within the Medic Troopers, a place where everyone is friends with each other and are able to talk to each other. If there is ever any problems, I want people to feel comfortable in discussing them, whether it be related to the server or people on the server, or with other matters. I am always willing to listen to people, not just my own troops, and I'd hope to make this clear to people with how I would like to run the Medic Troopers.
